Facility: Astoria Armory (1636 Exchange St, Astoria, OR)

Cost: $50 per participant

Session 1: Thursdays starting 1/02 through 2/06 (Registration to open 12/15/24)
- Kindergarten (2019) through 3rd grade (2015): 5:30-6:30
- 4th grade (2014) through 8th grade (2010): 6:30-7:30

Session 2: Thursdays starting 2/13 through 3/20 (Registration to open in 2025)
- Kindergarten (2019) through 3rd grade (2015): 5:30-6:30
- 4th grade (2014) through 8th grade (2010): 6:30-7:30

The focus of the sessions will be on individual technique with an emphasis on dribbling and ball mastery. Each session will finish with a small sided game.

Players will be encouraged to be confident with the ball at their feet, to take risks dribbling out of pressure, and make intentional passes. 

The expectation is that players participating in this program are engaged and ready to learn and be challenged. There is the chance that your child may be moved up or down an age group (within their registered hour) in order to provide the most appropriate challenge for them, dependent on numbers.

Players will need to wear tennis shoes or indoor soccer shoes and shin guards. Players should bring a water bottle and a ball with their name on it.

Ball recommendation: K-2nd grade= size 3; 3rd grade and up= size 4 (but bring whatever ball you have available)

Parents are expected to remain at the facility for all participants in the first hour and encouraged to do so for the 2nd hour.
